Distribution Channels
Products can be released to multiple Channels. This makes it easy to deliver specific builds to selected groups. Using the Product Hub API you can integrate that functionality into your own distribution software. We at UJAM have the “UJAM App”, a desktop app that communicates with Product Hub to deliver products to different groups of people. Channel: Release
Section titled “Channel: Release”Releases for the general public. This channel is always visible to the outside and not login-protected.
Channel: Testing
Section titled “Channel: Testing”This channel is intended to be used by your in-house QA engineers. Gorilla Compiler has a settting to automatically release products to this channel as part of your CI pipeline run, so it becomes available for testing immediately.
Logged in users who have been added to this channel can see all builds for all products in this channel.
Channels: Alpha & Beta
Section titled “Channels: Alpha & Beta”These channels can be used to distribute builds to a selected audience.
Logged in users who have been added to this channel can see builds for products they have a license for in their account.
