Building the React Examples
Section titled “Building the React Examples”Install dependencies, then create and install the compiled product:
cd <example directory>npm cinpm run buildAndInstallDo this at the beginning of development, not only when preparing a release. It establishes the installed plugin, assets, formats, and host integration that the deployment watcher updates during normal iteration.
Basic Synth and FX - Reverb support rapid standalone development with npm start. Drum Sequencer requires DAW transport and should be developed with npm run deploy while loaded in a DAW.
Choose an example
Section titled “Choose an example”- Basic Synth is the best starting point for an instrument with parameter-bound controls and presets.
- FX - Reverb shows the corresponding structure for an audio effect.
- Drum Sequencer demonstrates state management, array data, custom editors, and DAW transport integration.
The React examples are installed under SDK/examples/Gorilla Engine React.
Custom C++ DSP
Section titled “Custom C++ DSP”The Enterprise SDK also includes the Custom Module Example under SDK/Examples/Custom Module Example. It demonstrates effects, voice processing, audio generation, and modulation sources implemented in C++. This example uses CMake, not the npm workflow above.
